About Us
Your Child Is in Great Hands
Our Story
Kid Connection E.L.C. was founded in 2013 and expanded to Lafayette Day Care (2015) and Kid Village LLC (2022). Our centers are conveniently located in the Wayne and Oakland County area. We are dedicated to providing every child enrolled in our program with the highest quality service; this will assist them in their future academic endeavors.

We currently offer childcare, early childhood education, GSRP, and before and after school services for children 6 weeks through 10 years of age. We have a dedicated team of directors, teachers, and support staff. Every day, our team ensures your child's well-being and guides them on their educational journey.

In a well-maintained safe and secure environment, our centers provide the perfect setting for your child to begin their road to academic success. It's the perfect place for children to play, laugh, explore, and develop life-long learning skills.
Our Philosophy
We believe that the road to academic success begins at birth. That's why our full-service child care center is committed to providing the best quality of care to children from the time they are born through adolescence, partnering with families every step of the way. In a nurturing and academically stimulating environment, we encourage your child to learn, grow, and develop his or her skills.

Each of our rooms has learning centers (art, blocks, dramatic play, etc.) and a variety of developmental activities, some of which are teacher-directed and others are child-led. Our curriculum promotes a child's social-emotional development, physical development, cognitive development, and language development.
Health & Safety
Keeping your child safe and healthy is our top priority.
Each day upon arrival, your child's caregiver will perform a mandatory health screening. Children with signs of illness or infections are not permitted to attend. In the event of a fever, contagious rash, or diarrhea, the child will not be allowed to remain in care. Children who are not well enough to play outdoors or who are not able to comfortably participate in activities should stay at home. All of our staff members are alert to changes in children's behavior throughout the day. If your child becomes ill or unable to participate in activities, you will be called and asked to pick up your child.

If your child is exposed to a communicable disease, you will be notified and a notice will be posted outside all classroom doors. Parents must notify our center immediately if their child becomes ill with a communicable disease. In the event that a child is injured or becomes ill while at our centers, their parents will be notified immediately. If we cannot reach a parent, the emergency contact will be notified. It is the parent’s responsibility to update the family’s emergency contact numbers as needed. All known minor and major injuries will be reported to parents in writing.
